On Jay’s Radio Hour, you’ll hear hundred-year-old music in all its finest forms! Each episode features a healthy dose of jazz, blues, hillbilly, and novelty music — plus sprinkles of pop from the 1920s-1940s, real radio reruns from before the 50s, vaudeville, rockabilly, and traditional world music — all presented live on the air directly off original 78rpm records manufactured before the 1960s.

About the DJ
First and foremost, I am a 78 collector. I live and breathe the stuff — most importantly, I’ve been broadcasting them on the air for over a year. I love working to keep radio (like all vintage media formats) alive, especially at a community level. I love the idea of many people around the community connecting by listening to the same songs together. Unlike most radio hosts (and fans of hundred year old music), I am 14.
