About this program

If it’s music and it connects to the art of moving images, you’ll hear it on Soundtrack Cinema. Pulling from original film & tv scores, needle drops, golden throats, and film-inspired music, we pick a theme every week and concoct a soundtrack that fits. Composers and filmmakers’ birthdays, Oscars, Brooklyn, Bond, Sundance ’92, Westerns, Pride Month, Road Movies, and our yearly Noirvember celebrations are just a few of the themes we’ve done in the past.

About the DJ

Having been a rabid record collector since I was 13 and having worked at Scarecrow Video for the last 30 odd years, this show is the natural outgrowth of both obsessions. I love movies, I love music, and I really love all the connections that are made between different art forms. And most of all, I love connecting people with all the great movies and music out there.
